Well, let’s see. I sort of missed week 21, it was a doozie. I left Friday after class (the 16th) for Memphis. Got there and spent some time with my mom and Granny; had plans to hang out with my dad and his side of the family on Sunday. Saturday by 2:00 I was down for the count-apparently a stomach virus! FUN I made it home Sunday and didn’t move from the downstairs bedroom for a few days. It was the worst pain I have ever been: chills, fever, aching body, the whole nine yards. I have never had a stomach flu like that before. Needless to say I missed school all week (minus one day I thought I could make it… not such a good idea) and didn’t do any blogging, etc.
The good news is J is a wonderful nurse. He also deals well with the very inconsistent moods swings that come with me being sick-snuggle me, never mind don’t touch me…etc. I’m not a fun sick person, especially the 2 weeks before finals when I have way too much to do.
So, I lost about 6 pounds but I am sure I have gained it back now, with Ms. S’s brownies and all =). The baby is fine and we are all better around here! YAY!
During the 24 hours I was in Memphis that I actually felt good, we did some shopping and picked out the nursery bedding. It looks like this:
It looks like a lot of purple, but really it isn’t. And there is green and pinks in it, so we are doing the walls green, I think. I don’t know, I haven’t really decided! =)
I do know that I need to get the painting done though, because I am so ready to get the furniture set up! I will probably move it around a hundred times before baby Lexie gets here.
I have also been thinking, Easton and Lexie are good sibling names. So when our son comes along (next time, maybe) I can still name him Easton James-I am just in love with that name for some strange reason. I really hope the doctors were right and this is a girl! We’re in trouble now if they messed up…
