Outside my Window …
It has turned cold; the sky is cloudy and misty. My wonderful husband is cutting firewood.
I am thinking…
It is so quiet when all the babies are napping ..
for weekends with my family. My husband works a schedule that he is able to come home early on Fridays, so that is the beginning of our “family time” weekends. They are wonderful, and I will always cherish them, I know the kids do as well!
In the kitchen…
There are packages to be returned on the counter, my big pot needs to be washed, and dinner isn’t planned!
I am wearing…
My pajama pants and an Arkansas tshirt.
I am creating…
Well, I was making a shirt for my daughter, but for the life of me cannot figure out how to make the placket .. so, moving on to the girls’ Christmas gowns! haha
I am going…
to have a relaxed week this week, and get organized for school tonight.
I am wondering…
what I am going to cook for dinner. Nevermind! Hubby just said tonight we will “go to town” for errands, dinner out, and Christmas lights at the botanical gardens. I will take it!
I am reading…
Been trying to work through my devotional!
I am hoping…
The kids nap really good so we can stay out late tonight!
I am looking forward to…
Well, tonight now! But every day. Every day is such a blessing with our little family. It is so corny, and so true. I mean, I get frustrated and lose my cool sometimes. But mostly I am in awe of them.
I am learning…
How much fun my 3 year old son is. Honestly, his first years was tough because he felt so bad, his second year was tough because he was … well, 2. But this year so far (3 years old) has been amazing and fun!
Around the house…
The Christmas tree stands without lights or decorations because I keep forgetting the lights. The ones from last year are all dead; only the mantle is decorated. There are Christmas gift boxes from all the family piled up in my room and closets, and frankly- I am ready for it to all be over!
A favorite quote for today…

One of my favorite things…
a fire in the fire place!
A few plans for the rest of the week:
Get school ready for next week, get a few Advent activities completed, make it further into my Mom devotional
A peek into my day…
Just imagine me in my PJs with a hot cup of tea. =)
