Now, on to Read It With Me Wednesday: On Writing
The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.
Lamentations 3:25
I have been waiting. Waiting for God to show me a way to minister to others, and grow myself. I know my main ministry is in my home, for my husband and babies. I looked into a few ministries, but nothing seemed to “fit” yet. Nothing was calling me, no matter how badly I wanted it to.
So I waited. And I prayed. I asked other stay at home and homeschooling mothers who said, “take it to the Lord. Stop searching and let him guide you.” So I did.
Then while reading her blog, I saw Misty was looking for co-hosts for her Christian blog; a blog that inspired me to seek Him more after I read it each night. And it felt right.
After exchanging emails, and nailing out details, I heard God whisper, “this is it.”
JTom was comfortable with it, so I proceeded.
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8
This last week has been … exciting! Being part of something new, for the first time in a long time, is so exciting.
To be able to share with more readers and fellow bloggers how God is working one me daily, crafts and activities that we enjoy, and talk openly about our journey to homeschool, is all so refreshing!
It’s hard work, without monetary gain, but still refreshing.
And best of all, it’s lead by God!
But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deuteronomy 4:29
Seek Him in everything. He promises that when you do, you will find Him. And at His feet you will find many blessings. Be blessed this week, friends!
