Every Day with God {a devotional}

Every day since my oldest child was 2 years old, we have read from a children’s devotional; it is part of our night time routine.  We have read through all of the ones in the series that we began with, and reread one of them.  So I was very excited when we were offered a chance to review a new one- Every Day with God: 365 daily devotionals for Boys from VeggieTales.

As soon as it arrived, we started reading it daily and the kids have loved it. But most importantly, I have loved it!  Unlike most character-type books, it is a solid devotional based on Biblical truth and wonderful information for growing disciples!

Each daily page includes a Bible verse, prayer, thought of the day, and a devotion.  It is 384 pages, paperback, and recommended for ages 4-7.  My 6 year old and 4 year old do this devotional daily and love it!  My 2 year  old enjoys walking around with it, flipping the pages, and talking about what she sees.  It has become a family favorite!

    I too have found that the time I spend focused on teaching the kids Bible draws me closer to the Lord. They would love to incorporate that with a VeggieTales theme I am sure!

  2. Rebecca says:

    I’d be interested in trying this with my girls. I think I’d use it as part of our morning time with my younger two, but having the older two listen in as well.

  3. Brittany says:

    We read devotions every morning after breakfast. We’ve been through several books and would love a new one to add to our rotation!

  4. Becky Jesse says:

    My husband and I were just talking about how we need to make more of an effort to read the bible with our three girls. 6,4 and 2. Especially since we homeschool! This looks awesome!
