Snoring … And Taste Buds

I love him. He is really the love of my life, the man God meant for me to marry and father my babies.

But he is sick, with a sinus infection.

And he is snoring.

*sigh*

After traveling for the last 2.5 days, sleeping in a horrible motel, and then having his flight from Cleveland to Detroit cancelled, he made it home safely at 2am this morning.

Sick.

I rang up my friend and told her about it and how I was getting no sleep because of him snoring. I am aware he does have a sinus infection now, however, but he’s not the quietest sleeper at the best of times! She said that her husband has used specialized Masks to help reduce his snoring. She also said that they had a lot of health benefits in general, so long story short and I’ve bought him one… fingers crossed it works. In the meantime, I have been cooking a storm in the kitchen to try and cheer him up and give him some healthy ‘sickness reducing’ food. So, tonight I made him fresh green beans, and sweet potatoes to go along with the GIMORMIS steaks I got on sale the other day.

Followed by freshly ground, whole wheat, refined ingredient FREE, peanut butter cookies.

And he couldn’t taste any of it. Haha

But it was worth the effort and showed him I love him and appreciate him…

Thankfully, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, not his tastebuds. And his belly is full now, even if he couldn’t taste any of it. 🙂
