Read it With Me Wednesday with Wisdom Wednesday Linkup {Psalm 118:24}

“This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it”
Psalm 118:24

This Bible verse is one of my favorites, and is the memory verse Lexie and I have been working on the last few weeks.  {she asks me all the time to “sing” our memory verse}

It also happened to be one of my favorite church hymns, growing up.

Most days are pretty great.

Some days are just hard.

When those first two words get reversed;
when most days are just hard, and some days a pretty great,
that is when life gets messy.

That is when life tends to get you down.

I will be honest, the last few weeks have had some amazing days, but the build up and dread of a few weeks to come has really had me down.

I know it is more important to let things go, and really focus on what is important in a situation.  I have done so much better with that.

Since trying to intentionally, purposefully, humbly trying to obey and submit to God’s will, I have been able to really let go of things that make me anxious and upset.

But lately, this one thing has been eating at me.

I am determined to let it go.

I am determined to let God take care of it.

Because this is the day He has made.  I will rejoice and be glad in it.  I will be present to right here, right now.

And not be anxious about what may or may not come to pass.

Be blessed, friends!
