Read it With Me Wednesday {Faithfulness}, with Wisdom Wednesday Linkup

I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.  Psalm 89:1

This was actually our scripture for Advent in our homeschool, today.

In the past month our family has been through a lot, emotionally.

But now we are coming out on the other side, and I know that blessings will abound, because God is faithful.

He keeps his promises.  He doesn’t change His mind, or take anything back.

He fulfills the desires of our hearts.  So, I am not ready to give up on those desires yet.  They may not come today, or in the next year.  But the Bible tells me they will come, and they will.

Can you imagine- giving your Child for the life of sinners, who will repeatedly fail?  But He promised he would send Christ, and He did.  If He can absolutely keep a promise that I am not sure any of us could make, let alone keep, I know he will be faithful.

And although these verses are pulled from context, and the Bible was written for us not as a personal letter to us, God’s faithfulness doesn’t waver.

He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.
Psalm 145:19
